Hello, I’m Megan

I am a nurse, yoga teacher and lover of nutrition.

Namaste

I first practiced yoga 10 years ago. In that time I have found it invaluable in caring for my mind and body. I have practiced a few styles on yoga over the years including Vinyasa, Viniyoga and Ashtanga. My classes incorporate each of these styles.

I have always been interested in wellbeing practices especially yoga. This practice is not just a type of exercise but it is a lifestyle, a way of life.

Yoga has taught me so many life lessons on and off the mat. Through the years, I have learned to be kinder to myself which in time has created the healthiest version of myself mentally and physically.

In everyday life it can sometimes be hard to prioritise your health and wellbeing, especially when working in healthcare. This is why I decided to create an online wellness platform for healthcare workers.

It can sometimes be quite hard to get yourself physically to a yoga studio, especially in between shift work. With online classes all you need to do is roll your mat out, turn your device on and you are ready to breathe, move and nourish.

In saying that, everyone is welcome here. However, my class schedule will vary and often I will not teach on set days. I will try my best to have classes available for everyone. I hope by also having an on demand class library, you will find ways to introduce the beautiful practice of yoga into your life.

Breathe. Move. Nourish.

The top three things that have been fundamental to my wellness routine.

For me, yoga is not about the poses - it’s about the flow of movement, connecting to breath and discovering oneself. Yoga combines both breath and movement to support your body and mind in so many ways. My yoga teaching style is not based on physical flexibility but connecting to the breath and moving mindfully. Expect each session to begin with a short pranayama practice to connect the breath to movement.

I am passionate about a balanced lifestyle of play and work which is relevant in terms of nutrition. I have always found nutrition fascinating and value its importance for a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy creating recipes that are nutritious yet taste delicious.

I’m not saying I have all the answers and these practices will eliminate bad days but may help to support you on the worst of days to see the glimmering light at the end of the tunnel.

I value creating a space that is accessible to everyone interested in creating a wellness routine that works for them.

This is why I choose to host classes online and create monthly membership with an on-demand video library. I hope this allows more flexibility in your schedule to attend classes when you wish.

Sometimes 10-15 minutes a day of breathing and movement may be just what you need to help you feel good inside and out.

Styles of classes I teach

  • A dynamic style of yoga that is practiced by linking the breath with movement. You will move through sun salutations, standing and seated poses put together in a creative sequence.

Suitable to most levels - everyone is welcome to try these classes however can be helpful to have some previous yoga experience.

  • A slower, gentler style of Vinyasa flow. In these classes you will move through sun salutations, seated poses and standing poses linked together with the breath.

Suitable for all levels, including beginners.

  • A style of yoga that is practiced by combining dynamic movement to build energy and the restorative poses of yin to deeply stretch the body and calm the mind.

    Suitable for all levels.
