Terms of service

Please read the following terms carefully. By participating in any class provided by MEGAN JANE WELLNESS you consent to, and agree to release Megan McKay from liability according to, these terms. Unless Megan McKay notifies you otherwise, this waiver and release will apply to all classes undertaken by you with Megan McKay.

 

General Policies

You acknowledge that:

1. You are over 18 years of age

2. You understand that the classes are a form of physical activity and that there are inherent risks in undertaking any form of physical exercise.

3. You have disclosed, or will disclose to Megan McKay prior to the class beginning, any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or affect your ability to participate in a class, this includes, but is not limited to:

a. injuries, pain or recent surgery

b. pregnancy or if you have recently given birth

c. respiratory or heart conditions or high blood pressure.

4. You will notify Megan McKay if you experience any pain throughout the class and will immediately stop participating in the class if needed or requested by Megan McKay to do so.

5. Based on the information you provide, Megan McKay may decide not to allow you to participate in a class or may require you to provide a medical certificate affirming that you are able to participate in a class before allowing you to join, at Megan McKay’s sole discretion.

6. Although Megan McKay will offer recommendations and instruction available to all bodies it may not be tailored to how your body is feeling on any particular day, and it is your responsibility to assess whether you are able or want to participate in all or part of a class.

7. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your physical environment is suitable for your participation in any class.

8. Classes may be recorded by Megan McKay for quality control, as well as promotional purposes. If you do not consent to Megan McKay using video or still images during the class for promotional purposes, please notify Megan McKay in writing.

Membership Policies

By purchasing a monthly pass to the Megan Jane Wellness Membership you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Your membership pass cannot be shared. If Megan McKay has any reason to believe that your pass is being shared, Megan McKay reserves the right to cancel your access.

2.  A 7-day free trial is available. You will be asked to choose the Standard or Unlimited membership at the time of registration. You will be asked to provide your card details to be saved to your account from which the first month’s payment of £20 or £50 can be collected at the end of the free trial.

3. The free trial is limited to a one-time use per person.

4. Your membership pass service cannot be frozen.

5.  Your membership pass can be canceled at any time after the 2-month holding period. If you are within the free 7-day trial period, your access to the on-demand video library will terminate on the day you cancel.

 

Class Policies

1. All purchases are non-refundable and are not extendable past the expiry date. Megan McKay reserves the right to, from time to time, change teachers, class times and class styles. Check the online timetable via the Momence website or app for the most up to date schedule.

2.         Cancelation policy

a. Clients can cancel their attendance from class up to 8 hours prior to the start of the class. If the single class pass /class pass was purchased using their bank card / PayPal, the client will automatically receive a gift card with the amount of the class price, there will be no cash refunds. Passes purchased using a class pack will automatically be added back into the customer’s class pack. If you cancel less than 8 hours prior to the start of the class, a £6 cancellation fee will occur. You must log in to your account to cancel yourself out of the class or use the link on your class confirmation email.

3.         Late/no-show policy

a. It is recommended you show up 5-10 minutes early to class (this includes online classes, as I will have to let you into the Zoom call myself.) If the client arrives late for class, they will not be permitted into class and they will lose their class pass. If the client does not show up for class without canceling (see cancelation policy) this is regarded as a no-show and a £6 cancellation fee will occur.
