Colleen and I are an auntie and niece duo who have been hosting the Release & Reset mini retreats since March 2023. We are both qualified yoga teachers who want to bring our love for yoga and cold water dipping together to help support women find more calm in their lives.

Our retreats are a chance for you to step away from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with yourself through breath work, movement, meditation and gratitude. Each retreat is thoughtfully created to help you embrace the changing seasons, find balance and connect with a like-minded community of women.

Our retreats are your time to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself in a supportive community. Join us to nourish your mind, body and soul, and leave feeling aligned, uplifted and ready to embrace the season ahead.

  • RELEASE

    Our retreats are created to help you release what no longer serves you such as feelings, thoughts or energies that may be weighing on you. Through grounding practices like breath work, guided meditation and intentional movement, we aim to create a space for you to release old energy and make room for new possibilities. This is your time to let go, unwind and create space for growth on your wellness journey.

  • RESET

    Our retreats offer a perfect opportunity to pause, tune into your needs and restore balance. With a blend of yoga, mindfulness and community connections, we hope you'll find more ease in resetting your mind, body and soul. Whether it’s through movement, a reflective moment during the cacao ceremony, or simply enjoying the company of like-minded women, this is your chance to reset and recharge.

  • REPEAT

    Our hope is that you leave feeling inspired to make a little more time for self-care and to prioritise your wellbeing, long after the retreat ends. This is your opportunity to learn nourishing practices to support you whenever you need to reconnect with yourself, repeating the cycle of release and reset as you live your life. This is not just a one-time event - it’s a journey toward a more balanced and empowered you.

WHAT TO EXPECT


Once you arrive at Three Sisters Studios, you will have a chance to meet your teachers, get settled on your mat, find the toilet facilities and prepare for an afternoon of goodness.

We will begin the afternoon by landing in the space with grounding breath work and a guided meditation. This will be followed by selecting an oracle card to support you in becoming clear on your intentions for the afternoon and month ahead.

We will then prepare to move into our cacao/tea ceremony by taking a moment to introduce ourselves and express what it is we are grateful for, opening the ceremony with open hearts.

Then, you will be guided through yoga flow. Whether you practice yoga regularly or a complete beginner, this flow offers a chance to calm the mind and explore feel-good movement that leaves you energised and uplifted.

Of course, after all that movement there will be time to replenish yourself with tea/coffee and delicious home baking.

We will finish the afternoon with a walk down to Wardie Bay for an optional cold-water dip. If you've never tried a cold water dip, this is your chance to step out of your comfort zone and try something new! But if dipping isn't your thing, don't worry, we'll need some cheerleaders on shore too!

 FAQs

  • The exchange for our retreats is £50. Megan will take payment via email by sending you a secure payment link.

    We do offer a student/NHS/teacher discount of 10% or early bird booking if subscribed to the Megan Jane Wellness newsletter.

    We also offer a community space at every retreat, no questions asked. Please email hello@meganjanewellness.co.uk for your space.

  • We ask if you could please bring a thermal flask for a warm drink at the beach. If you need to borrow a flask, please let us know and we would be more than happy to bring you one.

    If you are taking part in the optional cold water dip, please bring your swim gear (swimsuit, towel, neoprene boots/gloves etc.)

    We previously have asked you to bring a yoga mat with you but that is no longer the case! We will now be supplying yoga mats but please feel free to bring your own mat if you wish.

  • The cold water dip is entirely optional! At almost every retreat we have hosted, we have a few cheerleaders on shore!

    If you have never cold water dipped before, our retreats are the perfect time to try! You will supported throughout by everyone taking part in the retreat!
